After a brief hiatus,

Ahhh too much to catch up on.

A teaser for what is to come, as I try and organize my thoughts for the next few updates:

Vacation! The end of of my first class and the beginning of the (soon to be) epic six-week break:

Part 1: a few days rest at home in Damascus, getting to know the city and its people a little better

Part 2: heading back to Beirut to see my aunt Marilyn and cousin Marisa, visiting from "Amreeka" / Connecticut.

Part 3: the arrival of my mom in Beirut and the beginning of our two week travels (at which point we reach current time)

Part 4: the arrival of my dad in Damascus in our second week (now we are looking to the future)

Part 5: the departure of my parents from Amman, the beginning of That Which Remains To Be Seen.


But for now, it is time to live in the present and so you will have to wait until I have time to reflect on the past.
